Finally...some responsibility
A 17-year-old in North Dakota called 9-1-1 to report there was a drunk driver on the road. The teen told dispatchers she was the drunk driver.
Police later found the girl parked in a lot, drunk. She was not arrested for a DUI, but was released to her parents.

Yeah, it was stupid of the girl to drink. It was stupid of her to drive after she was drunk. But somewhere in her clouded mind she had the decency to call, ask for help, and get off the road.
Deaths and injuries related to drunk driving are totally preventable. This girl was eventually smart enough to not add to a tragic statistic.
